The Caring Place

We want to welcome you to First Baptist Church.  In 1907 a small group of men and women saw the need for a Baptist church in the new town of Electra, TX, and over the last 100 years this church has grown through good and bad times to be where it is today.  

First Baptist Church is a place where the entire Word of God is preached.  The Bible is our guide to life and our principle means to know God.  The church is also a place of prayer. It is only by giving our burdens to God and trusting Him to take care of all our needs that we will grow in faith and obedience. We are also a place of fellowship, where we come together to encourage one another and bear each others burdens.  Finally, and possibly most important, we are committed to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all in our community and surrounding area.  We desire to point people to the grace and mercy of our Lord.
