FBC Electra Reopening Plan
Building Preparations
- Hand sanitizer at each door
- On Sundays, greeters will open all doors during entry and exit
- Greeters will wear face masks
Sunday Worship Precautions and Guidlines
- FBC Electra will follow the guidance provided by "Guidance for Houses of Worship During the COVID-19 Crisis" provided by the Texas Attorney General and "Minimum Standard Health Protocols: Checklist for Churches/ Places of Worship" provided by the Texas Governor's Office.
- These guidelines will be posted at each entrance.
Specific Precautions Included
- Maintaining social distance of 6 feet between individuals or between family units.
- Closing every other row in the sanctuary.
- Encourage attenders to consider wearing a face mask.
- Allow age 65+ to listen/watch service in the Fellowship Hallm, maintaining social distance.
- No welcome time.
- No offering time; offering collected in the door boxes.
- Dismiss worship by section in order to maintain social distance.
Other Important Information
- If you feel sick, please do not attend. Incuding cough, fever, body aches, shortness of breath, or flu-like symptoms.
- If you feel uncomfortable in meeting, please keep watching/listening through Facebook or the website.
- If you travel out of the area, please use caution before returning to worship.
- Nursery will be closed indefinitely, according to medical guidelines.
- No Sunday Evening Service indefinitely.
- No Wednesday night children and youth activities indefinitely.
- Wednesday night prayer meeting will continue on Zoom indefinitely and meet socially distanced in the Fellowship Hall on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month.
- Adult Sunday School will meet, socially distanced, in the Fellowship Hall at 9:45 am.
